I Conference on Archaeology and Identity of Santa María de Guía at the Hespérides Theater, Santa María de Guía, Gran Canaria. The next June 25 and 26, the Hespérides Theater will become a meeting space to learn about our past, reflect on our identity, and discover the latest archaeological research developed in the Canary Islands and North Africa. During two days, we will have specialists from different universities and institutions who will address topics such as: The first settlers and the ancient occupation of Gran Canaria. Archaeology, history, and new technologies applied to research. Bioarchaeology and the funerary practices of the ancient Canarians. The dissemination and socialization of historical heritage.
